One line Design problem: “in what way might I enjoy the cooking process” (specifically for removing heat around stove while cookiing)
Cooking Stove Heat management: I love to cook. However one of the most difficult aspects of cooking (and more so with indian cooking) is the heat around the cooking stove. It gets hot and sweaty. Chimneys only manage 30-50% of the heat but the rest is still quite bad – especially given the humid climate. A mechanism to reduce/manage this heat would be great.
Why this gap meets course project criteria
- I experience this gap myself and have access to few more people who feel the same way
- I can think of a few ways in which it can be addressed and develop and finetune to the ideas over the next 8 weeks of the course
- I would like to design a physical products and the solution to this problem would fall in this space
